Growing old is compulsory, growing up is optional

As case in point is me old mate Dave who will hit the ripe old age of thirty-nine just five days before me on Sunday. Dave and I spent many happy years not growing up together. He is still refusing to grow up in spite of the fact that he’s old enough to know better. Happy birthday mate!
